What is Red the Robot®?

Red the Robot® is a uniquely interactive resource; designed especially for boys, less motivated children and reluctant readers, Red the Robot® motivates, reinforces and engages children in speaking, listening, reading and writing. This robust, 40cm tall, tactile, electronic speaking Robot with perfect pronunciation can read a library of stories and Letters and Sounds activity cards. Simple technology allows children to use the activity cards easily and completely wirelessly, while Red can be reprogrammed to any phase or topic through the USB port under his body. Red the Robot® is a unique resource that children are motivated to listen to and to learn with.

Each activity card and book is activated by placing the Magic Star Reader on the icon in the top right hand corner. The coloured star registers the card you wish to use. Red will ask a series of questions of which the answer is always one of up to 5 alternatives.
